I can see why the TMac alocytes are scared. These crowds are pretty badass [twitter]https://twitter.com/GlennYoungkin/status/166454439970324766722[/twitter] [twitter]https://twitter.com/GlennYoungkin/status/145447719779079520257[/twitter]
Yea. And in NOVA no less. Meanwhile Terry’s rally in Alexandria yesterday consisted of 20 people standing in the rain. Until it was canceled, of course, as the candidate scrambled to deal with his latest self inflicted crisis
LOL. I’m sure the historic flooding didn’t have anything to do with it.
Are you even in Alexandria? The "historic flooding" was just the first block of OT from the water, so between Union and Lee, especially during high tide. It was historic in that it was higher or as high as Isabel (so below your knees) but there wasn't widespread flooding or even really any issues. Everyone knew it was coming, the businesses closed, sandbags procured, etc. I just drove down there an hour ago, it's totally fine today. The flooding in Del Ray in August was much worse. So there is zero chance that Friday's "historic tidal flooding" would prevent people from coming into OT, unless they wanted to walk along the harbor. Stop using this as the reason it was cancelled. Maybe it was because the event was supposed to be outside, couldn't they have moved it inside? But the forecast said for days it was going to rain like that and that Union to the water would flood, that's it.
