The neighborhood complains that the school would create massive traffic disruptions. But what's the basis for that? Currently Nebraska Ave is only one lane during school pickup hours because the other lane is devoted to parking - and not even resident restricted parking. During drop off, which isn't a "line up and wait" situation there are lights anyway that slow things down.[/quote]
