Can someone explain to me the relationship between APE and the lawsuit that was filed a bit ago trying to compel APS to hold in person instruction? A lot of my opinion about APE and its right-wing roots stems from what I saw on the Twitter feed (relating to January 6) of one of the men pursuing that lawsuit. If he and his efforts are not part of APE, I would be interested in knowing that.
This was covered extensively at the time. The man who filed the lawsuit is/was a member of APE, but APE specifically declined to participate in or support the lawsuit, in part because much of APE’s leadership specifically disagreed with his lawsuit.
The man who filed the lawsuit was/is a member of APE, he fundraised for his lawsuit extensively on APE and a lot of APE members donated to it. And yes, he also tweeted his support for the Jan 6th insurrectionists. APE "officially" wasn't involved in the lawsuit and they stated that. Basically they wanted to have it both ways.
Nope. This is asked ad naseum in AEM. Not involved literally. Like not at all. Did member in APE donate to the lawsuit? I dunno, maybe. But leadership that it was dumb and refused to be involved. Anyone else find it ironic who is constantly trying to bring a manufactured crisis to Arlington? APE doesn’t engage in CRT, bathrooms, banning books, because those are stupid manufactured crisis issues. I’m not in APE per se, whatever that means. But I do know a few that are and several of them (in fact most) are very, very liberal or at least Dems. What is driving this desperate attempt to constantly malign them. Even last year they were totally fine. No one was freaking out at school board meetings, despite the desperate attempt by some to paint APE like the crazies in Loudon.
