It was also closer to Langley. Even when there's a specific proposal on the table that would add some diversity to Langley, not a lot, the School Board member from Dranesville makes sure it doesn't happen. Also, Langley's boundaries don't just border McLean and Marshall, they also border South Lakes and Herndon.
