At least this guy has the defense that he made a bad decision in the moment.  You all are knowingly harassing innocent people over a period of days.  That HAS to be the case because they can't all be guilty -- at least some of them have to be innocent.  What defense do you have for your behavior?

The guy should surrender to police and they and the DA can determine what if any charges to bring.  But don’t sensationalize this further by calling the others “children” or “kids.”  Reportedly they’re all college students.  People should suggest they are children when it serves their purposes but then turnaround and say they should have legal autonomy (to buy controlled substances or get an abortion, for example).

Did you seriously just defend this lunatic and gave him a pass for assaulting a child???  I have never, ever, ever lost my cool like that with strangers.  He needs to seek help for anger management and suffer the consequence for what he did.  Geez!!!
