Speaking of college being the goal, what commitments are on the FCV 02 team? just the one?
According to their website, there are 6 committed in class of 2020 from the GDA at FCV. Not sure how up-to-date this is. 5 play on the U19s (all playing up): schools Duke, VT, UVA, WF, W&M 1 plays on the U17s: College of Charleston
For 2020, I see the following on the U18/19 team: Penn UVA Penn State W&M X 2 Duke Va Tech X 2 Towson Navy Wake Forest I don't see any for the 02/03 team listed. The 2019 grads: WVU Va Tech X 3 W&M X 2 Rochester West Chester Christopher Newport West Point
The bolded sentence is the answer to the question. The rest is just window dressing, trying to make FCV look better. And it's also the answer for why those claiming FCV's U17s could beat either BRYC or MCLean's U17s are delusional.
It would certainly appear that the stronger D1 commitments play up to the higher teams except for FSU from McLean. So your argument based on what I can find is not valid re: U17s at McLean and BRYC being better. Lets see BRYC's 2020 group: East Carolina - U17 Binghamton - U18/19 Navy - U18/19 Coastal Carolina - U17 Princeton - U18/19 McLean: Penn State - U18/19 Florida State - U17 Air Force - U18/19 That is the extent of what I could find. Now FCV (I can't find the college of Charleston commit): Penn - U18/19 UVA - U18/19 Penn State - U18/19 W&M X 2 - U18/19; U18/19 Duke - U18/19 Va Tech X 2 - U18/19; U18/19 Towson - U18/19 Navy - U17 Wake Forest - U18/19

This is what happens when you just go by TDS instead of actually knowing the players on the different teams and when you don't actually address the question posed. First, the question wasn't about the 2020 classes; it was about the U17 teams. Second, TDS is often wrong and not up-to-date. For example, just on McLean, the AF commit you listed is actually a 2019; another example, the U17s have a player who recently committed to Georgetown. And there are at least 2 2020 commits to Ivies at McLean which TDS doesn't have listed. Your BRYC list, for both U17s and U19s, is similarly incomplete. But in any event, on this past year's teams, there were more D1 commits on both the McLean and BRYC than on FCV and correspondingly, more talent. And it's also because of that dearth of talent moving up at FCV that I stated that BRYC will challenge FCV next year as the best U19 team in the area (McLean only has three players sticking around from the U19 team and although all three are very good, they won't not enough to compete with FCV or BRYC).
Ahhhh. TDS is not up to date for BRYC and McLean but up to date for FCV. Thanks for the clarification Nadir.
