I'm not sure all the teams needs 4 players.  I can't honestly say what the 06s need because the team is young.  I'm going to try to do this nameless.  When my DD was younger, there was a U12 team that lose 13-0 to a top Nova team.  They added 2, yes TWO players, and the next year beat the same team by 3-2.  That can happen at younger ages.

For the older teams, sometimes you see one half is where the goals are given up, and the other half they perform better.  They may give up no goals or just one.  You can also see improvements relative to this year and last year and the fall versus the spring for the most part.  The other teams have had some close games this spring, which means instead of 4 players, they may need 1-2.  They could be missing that true goal scoring forward or that brick wall centerback.

I wasn't so impressed with the technical skill of FCV.  They didn't have a particularly good touch or footwork.  It was more that they were very harmonious when they played.  They moved together well.  That is good soccer of a kind, so congrats to be well coached.  The games aren't as far off as people may think. [/quote]
