FWIW, Bullis still has a ton of young talent. They may have lost one or two older players, but several freshmen saw meaningful minutes last season. I would also argue that the football commit is addition by subtraction. In the games I saw I thought he displayed questionable sportsmanship. The IAC will be interesting this upcoming season as there is no clear frontrunner. [Report Post]
Losing Ray McGill will hurt them defensively, despite what people say about him, he is a terrific defensive coach. Bullis lost a 4-year starter and also graduated the senior transfer from St. Stephens. Both were studs and no kids on their current roster are on the level of these two. Bullis had some talented freshman on the roster last Spring but Anzelone is leaving and who knows if it others will soon follow. Losing the Ohio State commit, the High Point commit and arguably the best player in the country for his grade will absolutely hurt Bullis next Spring. Unless JB brings in another 6 transfers between now and March 1st (and I wouldn't put it past the administration) Bullis will fall off next Spring. The IAC will be wide open next Spring, the Lil Hoyas might even be the favourite.
