I think Jane had the gun under her pillow when she went to sleep, and Ziggy crawled into her bed later.  That's why she was so startled when she woke up and saw him there.  Pretty sure she then put the gun in the drawer.

If I were Jane, I would be FURIOUS that my child had been accused of hurting another child - with zero evidence.  It amazes me that the Kleins can just demand a teacher's aide sit in the classroom with the express purpose of watching Ziggy.  I'm still appalled that Jane hasn't jumped down their throats, or the teacher's, or the principal's.  Unreal.

I suspect Amabella is harming herself.  She looks like a psychopath.  I picture her using one of those stapler removers on her shoulder to make it look like a bite mark.  Who knows, just a hunch.[/quote]

I'm not the suing kind - never sued anyone for anything - but I think if I had a child who was accused of physically harming another child, with [i]zero evidence [/i]to back it up, I'd take that school system to court.  I can't believe Jane is so passively going along with it all.[/quote]
