Again, super wierd that teams play for district titles and even if you lose, you can be put back into a state playoff. Most other states and sports certainly have district titles but once that happens, only the winner of the district advances. Shrugs shoulders.[/quote]

I think it does EXACTLY what you say it doesn't. Teams can be state champions despite losing in the region championship which is exactly why they go to states.[/quote]

what is the point of districts then. Seems to me this is just additional participation trophies.
