Bear in mind the investigation is being led by the National Security Division of DOJ and more specifically it’s Counterintelligence Branch. It’s not like this is leaking from someone at the US Attorney’s Office in DC or Florida. Information about the materials siezed would be closely guarded by the case team whose jobs are to prosecute national security breaches. Add to this the fact that something like analyzing Iranian nuclear capabilities would be compartmentalized with relatively few people having access to a classified report. They wouldn’t risk their careers or criminal prosecution to leak it to the media. Everything points to a strategic Team Trump leak that can be used to whine about leaks. Cannon led them down this path in her opinion by mischaracterizing something said during the hearing last week. [/quote]
