They need to get responses from the more desirable players and as they get declines they will work through the lower-ranked players considering positions of need. These things take time, especially during a time of such turmoil when players are on edge, IDing at multiple clubs/considering multiple offers and considering new coaches and where teammates might be going. If you haven't heard anything, it's safe to assume your kid is in consideration but not at the top of the list. Could they explain that better? Sure (but I'd argue it's self-evident). But they are just soccer coaches (often with other jobs, multiple teams, etc). [/quote]
