Has nothing to do with the coaching. These coaches have excellent players at the moment. Let’s see how they do with ok/good players. That’s a real test of a coach’s ability.

Like someone else said, possession is key. If you don’t have the ball, you can’t score.  Madison uses a draw stick, Yorktown doesn’t. Advantage Madison. That said, Cosby did a nice job keeping the draw control fairly even, something like 12 to Madison 10 to Cosby. Maybe Yorktown learns something from the film. So, like you said they both have very talented players.  To me, it will come down to coaching. Recognizing what the other is doing and adjusting to neutralize.  In the first half of the Cosby/Madison game Madison played man to man defense. Cosby kept it close and it would have been even closer were it not for a Cosby yellow card that resulted in 2 player-up goals.  In the second half, Madison came out with a high-pressure defense and Cosby was completely flummoxed.  And I think Madison definitely made adjustments from the first time they played Yorktown and as such were successful the second time. So, can Yorktown counter?  And if so, what does the Madison coach do to stay one step ahead?  Should be a great game.  Both deserving teams. [/quote]
