Walz being publicly fact checked by his wife is also really creepy because poor Mrs. Walz was forced to correct the record about something as personal as her fertility in front of America. Anyone who is married would be pissed about this. Anyone who is decent would be, too. Walz is bad news.[/quote]

Not really.  Many more people are familiar with the term IVF then IUI.   I would absolutely just use IVF unless I thought the person was educated about infertility or I wanted to bother to explain the distinctions.

Also...IVF is specifically threatened by the trump abortion bans.   For a candidate running on this issue, speaking about IVF explicitly is important.

Agree about importance of speaking about IVF during your campaign. Why he cannot talk about it without lying? He lost all credibility. Trump openly said that he has no intent to ban abortions or IVF treatments, so at least he is open about it. Why not to call it fertility treatment if he thing his audience too dumb to understand IUI terminology? And why to disclose it now? Does he think his supporters suddenly became more educated?[/quote]
