Love how the Blake bots dismiss the experiences of people on Baldoni’s side, saying it’s irrelevant, when they’ve been constantly bringing up their own personal experience with SH in the workplace in this thread and how Justin reminds them of toxic people in their life. Just like Blake, rules for thee but not for me.
I'm a woman. We don't have to have a side. I've been sexually harassed at work multiple times. Do you want to dismiss my experience? Had a guy follow me around telling me he wanted to give me a pearl necklace. Got cornered and trapped in an elevator with another guy at work who wanted to "push all my buttons" and on and on. But dismissing her because she's blond and rich is ridiculous. Why even bring it up? Let the courts sort it out before calling her a dirty liar.
DP. I agree that if the process is in place allowing this to move forward through the courts she has every right to do that. But I do have a problem that some of the spin around this has been that the public was manipulated by an untraceable smear campaign, and that all of our thoughts about Blake lively are not our own, and that we were unknowingly manipulated that we need to wait until the court to tell us whether she lied or not. I have seen things with my own eyes and I know that she did in fact lie about some things. The dancing scene was what turned a lot of people around. She might have been uncomfortable, but she outright lied about some of what happened. The Times article implied that she was show p—n on set, and later we find out that it was a birth video. Jamey didn’t need to show her the video and the whole thing was stupid, but it is objectively a lie to call it p—n. Again, I don’t need Megan Twoey are anyone else telling me that when I was horrified by that it was the result of an untraceable bot campaign. That was objectively a lie. Other things were not lies, but people turning against her because of her rude and sarcastic interviews and decisions around selling her products during the marketing of this film are not the result of a smear campaign - that is people seeing that she was tone deaf and entitled and not taking good advice. There are a few more examples, but you get my point. Some of the incidents on set might not have been exaggerated and may be true, but there is no question that some were outright lies. So yes, she should have her day in court, but we are allowed to have our own informed opinions about some of what has come out and not be told that we were manipulated by untraceable bots.
Tl, dr Your opinion carries little weight when you bring in her appearance, weight, wealth hair color etc as if it was deserved. You will be tuned out as unserious.
