Something about that was weird. As if there were some camera tricks or something that made it look like he was later than he really was. I thought so too.  I'm always skeptical about the camera edits, when it's clear they have a storyline in mind.  Ryan, however, has shown to be a flake in the past, with little understanding that others might be upset by that behavior, so who knows.  He asked Bentley if he wanted to go back out, so it couldn't have been too late. [/quote]

I'm sure Bentley knows his mom views Ryan as unreliable at this point. Even Ryan's own parents have agreed and wondered why. I think Ryan sneaks off to go drink and smoke weed with his friends. I would not be surprised if he doesn't like how he comes across on the show and it makes him anxious to shoot, so he drinks/smokes to calm down for it, thus making him late, thus making him look even worse, thus perpetuating the cycle.
