I completely get the tip thing. I think that should be included in the price, but please don't belittle our jobs.
Regardless of what some bitter MT's say on here a lot of us do care about our clients and look forward to their progress.
I find it disgusting that a massage therapist said their quality of work depends on how much the client tips them.
No one I know is like that.
Massage therapists, just like everyone else works hard for their money.
We take classes in anatomy and physiology, neurology, myology/kinseology, and eastern classes. We too have to know how the body works and how to manipulate it.
So please don't assume that we're uneducated and are just rubbing your bodies.[/quote]
