Not all, but majority WOTP.  The DCPS objective since Michelle Rhee has been to flip Hardy into being a "neighborhood" middle school, meaning a significant majority IB enrollment.  The Hardy community is not necessarily aligned with that objective.[/quote]

No, the objective, as stated by Ms Pride at open houses , is a significant majority (75%) feeder school enrollment.

Not to mention, the percentage will go up when DCPS coerces a majority OOB school (Eaton) from Deal to Hardy.  While many IB families at Eaton are quite upset about the switch, more OOB families take it in stride because Hardy is still a better alternative than if they remained in their neighborhood school feeder pattern. First, if you are insinuating that Eaton is an inferior school due to its OOB population then you are sadly mistaken.  We are an IB family at Eaton and the "Eaton Community" benefits just as much from its OOB families as it IB families.  Second, not all IB families are upset.  We look forward to Hardy and think that its size is much better suited for our children.    [/quote]

Only JKLM parents still think it's ONLY JKLM. Nobody cares anymore. Especially since R has better scores than most. Many people prefer EHROSS of some JKLM.[/quote]
