It's the social culture/atmosphere. There are parts (not all) of Europe and the UK where it just feels more laid back, less puritanical. I feel like in the US, there are laid-back places, but they are laid back in a hippy/new agey/health nazi way. But it's different in certain parts of Europe/UK. And when I had vacation time, I wanted to go somewhere why I could feel a certain way and have a bit of a break.[/quote]
