Law was created for people. Veronica has civil rights. To bend and manipulate the law until it violates civil rights isn't the rule of law, it is the definition of injustice. Veronica deserves justice.
Justice? She was born in Oklahoma and according to Oklahoma law she had a father whose consent was needed for the adoption. South Carolina says fathers do not have rights, Oklahoma says they do. Who do you side with?
Since the father was fighting for his child since she was 4 months old, and the adoptive parents, birth mom and their legal and agency representatives lied, decieved and broke laws from the beginning of this case, I absolutely side with the father. Adoption is for kids who need homes, not for selfish, wealthy infertiles who think their money and ability to manipulate laws to suit their needs to take someone elses kid away.
