For some reason the Sixth Circuit didn’t think that was an issue when it intervened to overrule the Ohio Supreme Court in 2022 after it found the republican legislature’s maps unconstitutional under the Ohio constitution.  I’m sure that had nothing to do with the fact that the circuit panel was 2-1 republican and it got to order the state to use maps that favored republicans.[/quote]
