Is it a uniquely Ivy thing? [/quote] Any of these top schools have 25% of the students with test scores lower than 1450. 50% lower than 1520. That's where the "weird mix" comes from. Then there are test optional schools where at least 30% did not submit scores. Really there is only about one third of the students who are competent. [/quote]
