She did apologize to Jess, but I think she and Brittany were the same kind of girl (competing for all the male attention in the room kind of girl) and she didn't feel any loyalty to her so she didn't care.  She picked "Devo" in that breakup and doesn't acknowledge a girl code could exist between her and Brittany.

I feel like honestly Brittany didn't have many (/any, except for Amber maybe?) female friendships form in this show.  She bought the dress and came for the boys and that's where her head was at. I think Bri is just a deceptive person. It was interesting how Alex got called on for this stupid Austin timeline (in the past, not even very clear what about it would be a big deal?), and here is Bri, entertaining Chris's advances until he turned too creepy, lying about who was going on the concert trip and saying it's a "girls' trip." It would have been so natural to mention to Connor that Devonta was going, so are you sure you don't want to also come? The whole Bri/Priyanka/Ashley trio was catty shady mean girls. And Brittany does seem like she is good friends with Amber, Jess and Emma. As far as Brittany coming for the boys, she was focused on one guy, Devonta, and seemed to love him for who he was (did not know he made a lot of money until later on, he does not look good and she accepted him as he was...) Is she in love with love? Sure, but I don't see her as competitive at all. [/quote]
