Trump also posted an image of what he said was the deceased man’s gun, questioning why there were “two additional full magazines.”

“This is the gunman’s gun, loaded (with two additional full magazines!), and ready to go – What is that all about?” Trump said.

The Minneapolis police chief said the man was believed to be a lawful gun owner with a permit to carry.

Trump also claimed, without evidence, that the events are “a COVER UP” for theft and fraud in the state, referring to the long-running controversy over alleged fraudulent safety-net programs in Minnesota.

“The Mayor and the Governor are inciting Insurrection, with their pompous, dangerous, and arrogant rhetoric!” he posted, calling them “sanctimonious political fools” and saying, “LET ICE PATRIOTS DO THEIR JOB!”[/quote]
