I’m saying white/black/brown is not a useful lens through which to view this conflict. It is not a racial conflict. You cannot credibly call Israel a WHITE supremacist state when fully 50% of its citizens are non-white (at least to the extent you believe Palestinians are non-white. That is, they have recent middle eastern ancestry and darker skin). The only reason this whiteness question gets constantly trotted out is that ANTISEMITES want to associate Jews/Israelis with whiteness. Because (a) Jews are always blamed for the sins of society and right now those are whiteness/privilege/colonialism, and (b) it’s an easy/lazy way to cast Jews as oppressors.[/quote]
