They even helped me with the pronunciation of certain words. I always attempted to speak French, and I think they appreciated that I made an effort. The only bad person was a taxi driver who drove us the wrong way to make more money off of us. Just because I'm not French doesn't mean I don't know the layout of the city. He pretended not to understand English but, by his expression, he sure seemed to understand what I told him after that...Eff the taxi drivers. [/quote]
