75/25 is a hard nut to crack. Times may be changing but do you want your daughter at the front end with the 25 or the 75? Honest question. 99% on this board bet with the 75 when the time comes.
Look, if your kid's got the talent, they'll get seen in ECNL or GA. All the big colleges were at the last GA showcase, too. You can be in ECNL and still not get recruited if they're not putting in the work. Don't let the ECNL coaches on here sway you too much. And hey, don't forget, both the current National Female College player of the year winner and the US Soccer Young Female Player of the Year came from GA.
This is 1000% true. Sometimes top players even choose the team or league they play on because it's where they get the most minutes and are able to score the most goals, or be the best mid/defender/keeper. Getting recruited is a mix of standing out on the team and being on a winning team. Both of these generate attention from scouts. If the same scouts are at GA and ECNL events it doesn't matter which league you play in. What does matter is if your able to get noticed.
And therein lies the problem. The same scouts are NOT at both. Not even close. Are there scouts at both - yes. But don’t pretend it’s even. And if they are the same weekend where do you think the scouts will head?
Which P4 scouts are at ECNL events but not GA events? Please list them. Because the scout lists are published at all these events and the scouts are all there. Just because you say it doesn’t make it true. It is an easy thing to check.
Yes and it’s also easy to check that nearly 80% of college players come from ECNL. #receipts
And most are from the top 25% of the teams. So the bottom 75% are useless
