MAGA voters 
A) will never hear about the facts of Trump’s second term from their hermetically sealed 
Conservative echo chamber. Fox News never covers it and in fact, Fox News will never mention immigration at all, and all of the Maga voters will believe it’s been solved.
B) the republicans will continue to malign the very institutions they now control as wasteful, dysfunctional, and corrupt. They will continue to be nihilistic turds for ( in most cases ) political gain and in other cases for ideological zealotry. And MAGA voters will continue to slide further down the toilet away from a belief in democracy. There is no expertise or competence. We as a country can’t conceive of doing big things. American exceptionalism is dead. And they will keep voting officials that tell them that. And then proving it. Rinse repeat. 
C) we become a fully pay to play kleptocracy. And the masses buy Trump perfume and never notice the they got nothing.

I think one of the reasons that the left is so out of touch is that they use a framework of the right that existed 10 years ago. Their insistence that Fox News is the main source of information is a great example of this. Republicans left cable News behind a long time ago.  So much, that if you answer that you get your News from cable, pollsters immediately identify you as being on the left.

The person here saying they are upset that Trump won't deport people, etc isn't on the right. I'm on the right, and I had never even HEARD the claim that Trump would free J6 prisoners until AFTER the election, when a Democratic relative brought it up. It wasn't a campaign promise. It was words that were, per usual, taken out of context and bandied about in the leftosphere to scare people. That person is most definitely a troll because no one on the right is really tracking this. And it would be a controversial point, because they shouldn't be given carte blanch pardons.

Similar for the border. The left breathlessly told everyone that Trump would not only deport illegals, but also all black people. I mean, what the...? That's just crazy.  He only promised to aggressively attempt to remove illegals, starting with the most dangerous ones (violent criminals).

The economy? Yeah, that remains to be seen.

What are your expectations with regard to illegals?  Here on DCUM we heard Trump supporters insist, illegal is illegal, anyone who crossed the border illegally is a criminal, and that all of them have to go.  All of them.  We also heard Trump supporters insist that Haitians approved for asylum under previous administrations have to go, and particularly so because they are stealing cats and dogs and eating them.  And that means revoking their status of being in the US LEGALLY under asylum provisions.   We also heard you not having any problems with Vance's statements about denaturalizing citizens, immigrants who have been granted US citizenship.

Do you expect ALL of them to be deported, to include approved asylees and naturalized citizens?   Or just the illegal border crossers?  Do you expect the number of illegals in the US to go to zero?

I'll be impressed if they can deport a million per year, so I'd say my expectations would be for them to deport at least 3M high risk (known violent illegals) for the 4 years he is in office. I'm hoping for more, naturally. We will need several Republican administrations back to back to remove all of the violent gang members etc that came into the US during the Biden administration.

He will get cooperation from certain municipalities like NYC and Texas border towns, and between those areas, he should be able to get millions. Part of their strategy is also to create conditions that prompts people to self-deport. In other words, to make the deportation process onerous enough that people elect to leave on their own terms rather than in Steve Miller's cages. Every person crossing the American border should have pre-established legal residency or some other form of pre-approved permission to enter the country before they attempt to cross the border or else they must be turned around until our asylum protocols are reformed. Sure, if they've committed crimes, kick them out because if you're dumb and reckless enough to commit a crime in a country you wish to remain in but have no legal residency, we don't want you here.
