Mel's hat makes her look like she's getting her wardrobe together for the witness protection program.
That actually may not be much of a stretch. It also reminded me of those cosplaying outfits she used to put on.
I had the feeling she was hiding under the hat. Maybe for privacy?
I'm not a fan of her at all, but she just lost her mom. The first milestone events without your mom are hard, and she seemed very close. She maybe trying to hide tears.
Exactly. Plus tons of women in the crowd are wearing hats. Some men too. If the picture had shown the crowd wearing hats it would not have looked so peculiar. I am sure Melania missed her mom. She was a big part of her son’s life and I am sure seeing him graduate was something she was hoping to be able to do. Plus she only has one child. This was a big, happy yet sad day for her. I imagine if someone had taken photos of her crying at the ceremony, people would have said cruel and unkind things. People were already spreading untruths and nasty rumors about her son. He barely graduated hs and people were publicly announcing “he’s fair game.” What a bunch of pathetic toads.
