Birth control is totally different.  I don’t know anyone that is opposed to birth control. Every woman I know has been on it.  All the Republican woman I know are on it.  The Republican guys wives and girlfriends are all on it. Grow up. No one you know closely has ADMITTED TO YOU that they’ve had an abortion. Particularly if “everyone you know” is vocal about opposing it.

Most people are for abortion when they need one for their “fringe case”. There are many, many women who will NEVER admit they had one, and they will do the mental gymnastics to make it reasonable for their particular circumstance.

And will then continue to vocally oppose safe abortion for others.[/quote]

NYT just had an article in which the women featured had had “terminations” and were literally lying to themselves and pretending that they didn’t know that was an abortion. The only moral abortion…
