+1 - if there's anything that can be counted on reliably, it's that Trump is incapable of keeping his big mouth shut and he'll be popping off about Muslims just like he was back in 2015. If we're lucky, the media will actually report it, unlike the report I heard this morning where the reporter said Trump "called for" a Muslim ban, somehow contracting amnesia about Trump's actual Muslim ban.

This is more of a general comment, but I have to admit I think I am heartily tired of Democratic voters complaining about things like America's decades old policy towards Israel and that Biden didn't do enough on student loans. You can't turn a battleship on a dime. If you want completely zero movement on those issues, except maybe backwards, then go ahead and sit this one out and let Trump be elected.[/quote]

As crappy as the decades of Israel policy have been, there’s still a genocide in progress and he’a very well placed to stop. Especially given the selling of Biden and co as adults compared to Trump+co, that genocide is easily the most egregious failure of an American President in my lifetime and Iraq and Vietnam are the only other serious contenders to that throne. Though I’d given dishonorable mentions in that contest to the financial crisis and a few other things, but they like Iraq ALSO have Biden’s fingerprints on them!

Cut the crap out about "genocide". A genocide is the deliberate extermination of an entire people irregardless of the context. Which is what Hamas did on October 7, going house to house looking for people, women and children to slaughter. Israel's IDF does not go house to house killing all Gazans they see. Israel has been extremely self-restrained in Gaza despite having the weapons to actually do a full genocide. But Israel is a civilized nation at war against terrorists.
