There are just far too many applications these days to be able to consider applicants fully.[/quote] Until I had a kid that went through this process, I would have agreed with you. But even with the common app, each application to a selective college is a lot of work. Those supplemental essays where you explain why the school and you are a good fit take effort if done correctly. [/quote]
