The House needs to figure out what it can get through the Senate, quick! What the hell is the House doing?
Probably figuring out how to capitulate to Trump’s demands without getting called out on it at the ballot box.
They're so *****whipped by Trump, it's not funny.
It’s like you’re living in an alternate reality. Who’s the sitting president? (Although Biden is also confused, so at least you’re not alone.)
The WSJ editorial board (hardly liberal), doesn't agree with you. They think Republicans in Congress should reach a deal on border security rather than turning it into a campaign issue. “As for House Republicans, they promised in 2022 to do something about the migrant surge, and here is their opening,” the editorial board wrote on Sunday. “It’s not as if they have much else to tout when they campaign for re-election. If they won’t accept this rare chance at incremental progress, voters can fairly conclude that Republicans want to exploit the border election after election without actually solving the problem.”
