Ok bragging about killing your only child is weird. Just saying

But exactly what are you retiring from. A childless couple with a very short commute or remote with BS govt jobs.

Not exactly like you raised five kids, ran a restaurant, was a laborer, did back breaking work. Souls like your whole like was retirement.

What happens when the second one of you dies? They die alone and not even a person to plan funeral. What happens those two houses?

You must be dense.  We have  traveled the world, as was always our plan, since we met in our early/mid-20s.  As we age we may cruse more, if our health demands it.  We have already done all our paperwork to leave our money to various charities.

You sound very, very jealous, as well as unorganized in your life's plans.

I traveled the world too. I got married at 36. Was sick of it by 33. Really how many spring breaks, ski trips, cruises, happy hours do you need.
How do your parents feel that you and their work fr did this.

I know my 60 year old friend actually once day turned to his 58 year old wife of 22 years after she brought up no kids and said I wish you never listened to me and just got pregnant. She confesses your mother said same thing. He said you should have listened. They really were child free people, I suspect swingers! But something switched later in life.
He has a nephew in another state who will get it all. But he literally has a Yacht, Virgin Island Waterfront home, beautiful house Palm Beach and no kids to leave it too.

I think men who convince women not to have kids are horrible. My friend at 60 is easy prey for first HS drop out Hooters girl to get knocked up by him and take all the cash. But where does that leave his wife? [/quote]
