Wrong big time. Just noticed how few Nova public school girls have committed to UVA over the years, and have discussed with other parents who have daughters who have been recruited by top D1 programs (including JMU). It doesn’t seem to have anything to do with grades. My suspicion is that the previous UVA coach had either a bias (perhaps subconscious) or relationships that steered her toward private school players. But it’s just a theory based on multiple parents saying UVA was the only top school to not even look at a player’s online profile. That seems odd.[/quote]
