It never ends though. A property in a predominantly white community is more valuable than an identical property in a predominantly black community. That is true anywhere in America. The schools aren’t equal. The black homeowner in a black neighborhood probably has a lower credit rating and higher interest rate. The white-owned house in the white-neighborhood with the majority white school appreciates rapidly in value. The black-owned house in the black neighborhood with the majority black school may not appreciate at all. [/quote]

True, but what does that have to do with the 90% of the country that will not be inheriting anything? Most houses are mortgaged to the hilt and are sold to pay off the debts of the deceased, or these days to pay for nursing homes.[/quote]
