I think this is the modus operandi of political extremists on both ends these days. They have a lot in common. They try to shut down and suppress any opinion that isn’t within their very narrow world view. PP is on the left, but she shares a lot in common with the extreme right-wingers who are doing things like trying to ban poetry by Amanda Gorman. In her view, Barbie is a political statement, so you must agree with her that it is an amazing movie or you have to be an extreme right-winger. She just can’t account for a worldview where it’s just a crappy movie. [/quote]

And crazy enough, a corporation artfully made people see the movie as a political statement--very FOX News like, I am seeing the similarities (fierce adherence to party line, resistance to hearing info and thoughts from other parties)[/quote]
