You have until September 28th to file an objection to the discharge of what he owes you.  However, I would suggest waiting a little while as the trustee, US Trustee, and Maryland AG are aggressively investigating him.  It is very likely his bankruptcy will be denied and potential new charges filed against him as a result.  If fraud is found it will likely be referred to the US AG for additional federal charges.  I am assuming you are a sub contractor?  Interesting as it appears Omar had three categories for his subs. some were paid, some were told of the bankruptcy with a promise to pay in 90 days when he expected the bankruptcy to be complete, and some were not paid at all.  You could start with contacting MHIC for guidance, a county level consumer protection group, or the state consumer protection in the attorney general's office.  They all would probably be interested in speaking with you and should be able to give you some information on your options.  None of this should be considered a substitute to legal advice from a lawyer.[/quote]
