It was not really free. Just like the bread at restaurants isn’t really free. It was baked into the price of the food -you just didn’t see a line item. These delivery apps all are greedy and still claim to not make a profit. They take 25% of the gross sale of the bill so restaurants jack up their prices to accommodate that. Then they charge the customer a high delivery free and pay $2-$5 per delivery to the driver who then needs to rely on tips.[/quote]
