Yeah turns out that "athleticism" is not a function of how big your body is, but how hard you work on it. Both Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are very athletic, and yet one of them is tall and broad and likely weights a lot and the other is small and thin and probably doesn't weigh very much.

Also, I think Brittany looks cute at the Met Gala. [b]It is not her job[/b] as an athlete's date [b]to come out in some exotic get up[/b] like she's Gigi Hadid or Florence Pugh. She's not a model, she's not an actor promoting a career, she's a date. Bill Nighy came with Anna Wintour, the woman who organized the entire event and even picked many of the outfits people wore, and he just wore a suit, not a giant cat costume or a 5 foot hat or an embroidered cape or something. It's okay for Brittany to just wear a pretty dress and have her hair and make up done. They were in black and white, it's fine.[/quote]

Agree, too. For stuff like this, athletes' wives who are not themselves celebs tend to dress in a way that isn't over teh top since they are +1s. The ones who dress really "big" for these events tend to be the ones who were probably the invitee to these events and the athlete is the +1. Think Gisele, Victoria Beckham, Ciara, etc. [/quote]
