They could have cut some out. [/quote] I agree. Seinfeld was a sitcom. Each episode could stand alone. They could end the show at any time. Succession is telling an overarching story. There was a lot of fat they could have trimmed from the story (most of season 3) but they couldn't end the show without the actual succession.[/quote] PP you quoted here. I agree.
