https://open.substack.com/pub/popularinformation/p/top-congressional-republicans-bolster?utm_source=direct&r=1urel1&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email Disgraceful. How is the former president still getting away with inciting violence to avoid his just desserts (this time facing indictment). Debasing the Manhattan DA as less than human and posting a pic of himself swinging a baseball bat menacingly next to a pic of Bragg on social media? And top GOP congresspeople support his violent rhetoric? When will this madness end?
Two things can be disgraceful. When will it end? When the powers that be quit charging Trump with things that are not crimes. The DA ran on "getting Trump." That is not how our justice system is supposed to work. Do I want Trump to be president? NO. Do I think Bragg should be prosecuting himn? NO
+1
Since when are inciting violent insurrections, fraudulent use of campaign funds, paying hush money to hookers out of political funds and tax laundering not criminal ?
Exactly! If he was a democrat, they would have sent them to Guantanamo already.
Sadly so true. Hard to believe GOP congresspeople are backing his latest violent and racist diatribes rather than advising him to do the right thing. Anything for him to stay out of prison and then to stay in power. I think Trump must realize that there is no chance that he will win another election. He already lost two popular votes and that was before the Jan 6 insurrection. He just doesn’t want laws applied to him. He’s all about tough justice for other offenders. A coward and a hypocrite.
