WOuld love for someone to primary Karl Frisch. I'm sure you'll respond by bashing me but:

1.  Wasn't the "autistic kid" the son of a School Board member, and a legal adult?

2.  Was it noted for the audience in advance that the "kid" (young man) was autistic?

3.  Have you ever heard of nervous laughter?

4.  Did Hoffman apologize in any way later?

Hoffman may have other flaws that make him an unsuitable candidate, but there's something a bit off-putting about a Democratic School Board member putting her autistic son out there to play a song in public and then having all the Democrats capitalize on it when third parties found his vocals to be something less than "American Idol" quality?  I get that it may have taken a lot of courage for the "kid" to perform, although I understand he performs in other venues, but it's certainly played out in a very self-serving way for the Ds.
