Yes, but not much, because. it wasn’t politically motivated. It was a fence line (shrubline) dispute with a neighbor. And while I’m sorry he was injured, two men arguing over shrubs doesn’t really have national implications. So, apples/oranges.  If his neighbor had sought him out and beaten him up over a vote or political position, yes, I’d care.

Yes— that was horrific.  The only upside is that more people weren’t hurt. Not a Steve Scalise fan. Glad he seems to have made a full recovery.

But, this is worse because it targets family. And political violence against families, be it Paul Pelosi or Heidi Cruz or Karen Pence, or, God forbid, peoples kids, is a line we can’t uncross.
