I can name a few examples where girls commit in late Spring/early summer to Big Ten or ACC schools, but they were preferred walk-ons at both programs. This is where club directors can actually add value. Also, there will be an occasional decommitt which can open up a spot. MAC schools probably have the latest timeline as they are looking for girls who fall through the cracks at top schools.[/quote]
