When a player or her parent is considering what club to try out for  they often look at the lists of where the players from the club are playing in college. It tells you a lot about a club and if it’s a good fit for your DD and family.  Therefore the reputation and prestige/tier of a college matters just as much as the quality of the lax program.  If a club can say it has around 50% of girls committ to “X” kind of college, if that’s what a large number of people want (shown in part by a college’s low acceptance rate or ranking) then they Club is a desirable club.
