I personally find MM’s clothing interesting and prefer her style over everyone else in the BRF. MM can take fashion risks. Even though sometimes they don’t pay off, it’s so much more refreshing than what the rest of them wear. Kate has been in matronly territory for a while now. Her everyday look is for someone 10+ years older than her. Even her funeral outfit was like something out of Dynasty - very 80s vibe. (She’s worn some great gowns, though). She looks ages older than MM in part because of the way she dresses. And yes, I realize Kate has to have a certain look because of her role, and she always looks nice, but her overall look isn’t very interesting. If she weren’t married to William, I don’t think many people would fawn over her look the way they do now. Camilla and Sophie generally look put together. Beatrice and Eugenia are getting better but often miss the mark.
I think it's good that people have different taste in fashion. I always thought it was weird when people ask "Why doesn't Catherine dress like Crown Princess Mary or Queen Letizia?" Mary and Letizia dress like themselves so why would you want to see the same thing on someone else? I love the way Catherine dresses because it's so far outside of anything I would ever wear that she just feels like royalty to me. I don't think she looks older than Meghan at all, just different.
