Or you miss a vacation, or 5 or more days of school right before AP exams, or whatever else is important to you. If being out of commission for five plus days right now sounds unappealing, look at the increasing case count and act accordingly.

Interestingly, the epicenter of the new sub-variant is in central NY State where they are seeing a re-infection rate of nearly 3 times the average elsewhere in the state. It is too soon to tell what that means, but it's possible that the holiday Omicron infection might not provide as much protection as we hope. [/quote]
