Jokes on them, because they can still get Delta, or any other variant out there if they haven't bothered to get vaccinated or boosted, which does lower infection rates.

You can keep on telling yourself that- but, just as an illustrative example, FCC has about the highest vaccination rate in the state- over 80% of the population fully vaccinated.  FCC's case numbers for the last several months have also been amongst the highest in the state.
Now- the hospitalization rate for FCC is phenominal, basically no one is being hospitalized.  But so long as we obsess about case numbers its difficult to say that if 'everyone had gotten vaccinated we could have ditched masks.'

I wish what you were saying was true- and I get why it is a tempting statement b/c it maintains a modicum of control over something that can't really be controlled- but the facts don't support this view.[/quote]
