Unfortunately there are many coaches in many sports who are d!icks and care nothign about the spirit of the game and keep pressing. I could totally see that happening where a coach has continued to go with "what works."

That said, I could totally see a scenario where the better team isn't pressing but the kids on the winning team are just playing good solid half court defense and/or the other team is just missing wide open/easy shots. Maybe they run the packline which limits touches in the paint/inside the three-point line. What is a team of middle-schoolers going to do? Rain contested three-balls on them from outside?
